The Studio and Gallery of Broken Hill Artist Amanda Johnson.
Amanda Johnson is a self taught artist and fourth generation Broken Hill resident. Her love for her hometown of Broken Hill means the people, places and colours inform much of her work.
Amanda’s atelier is Willy Nilly Art and everyone is welcome to browse, buy or just stop by for a chat with the artist.
All works displayed in Willy Nilly Art have been painted by Amanda or her daughter Lauren.
They also stock a range of art related gift and homewares, including locally inspired T-shirts featuring Amanda's original artworks, hand-painted decor, and various other items selected to compliment the style of the gallery.
A working artist, Amanda can often be found painting in the studio at the back of the Willy Nilly Art gallery, so you may have the artist herself on hand to explain her art and processes!
Works can be commissioned, and can be posted anywhere. Please contact WNA by phone or email, check them out on instagram, swing by the website, or come visit in person to find out more.
Amanda is also a proud Lifeline ambassador. Listen to her podcast, along with other inspiring stories on Lifeline's website, and call in to view the self portrait that inspired it.
